Resiliency 1 for 1

The final step in resiliency is connecting into the resilient community around you.

We’ve created  so that you can connect with local members of your resilient community. It’s nice to talk to people around the world, but it’s also nice to know who is a bike ride away that you can learn from, trade with and share skills. As we develop our community we all become more efficient.

GrowSocial gives you the tools to bring your community together. There is a community calendar, a discussion forum, a marketplace where anyone can list products for sale, a classified (opportunities) area and a localpedia to allow you to gather and share information.  Everything you see on the site is based on your location. GrowSocial is meant to be your above ground mycorrhizal network. It becomes more useful each time someone uses it.

Whether you think climate change is man made or a natural occurrence, the impacts on food growing are unquestionable. Sharing info on pests, plants and conditions and supporting local biodiversity makes us all stronger. Coming together to create a vibrant local food system makes us all safer.  Working together to support those who offer specialized skills that we all need gives us a food growing infrastructure that can take us all further forward.
